Susan Gardner Scott is a native North Carolinian, living in the Winston Salem area. I have been working in the photography business for the last 11 years. I have been interested in photography as long as I can remember. I fell deeply in love with the process of black and white developing in high school and since then have just increased my education of the art by receiving a degree in photography from a technical school in North Carolina. I have worked with quite a few companies through the years honing in on my love for photographing children and families. For the last ten years I have done special event photography for a company out of Los Angeles, California. I also have had the sincere joy of working for one of the most well known Charlotte, North Carolina photographers, Deborah Triplett.
All of these experiences have helped me look at each situation in its own special way. Once I meet my subject I start to formulate the ideas of images to capture. With my photography I hope to capture the emotion from the individuals in front of my lens and in my final reproduction of the image I like to create a masterpiece to be hung on the wall that will symbolize a moment in time to be remembered always. I hope that each new subject I photograph is a new friendship in the works.
